KATHRYN NOBREGA'S high school yearbook inscription reads: "usually found: at a piano." Years later pianos have morphed into keyboards, but she can still be found navigating the 88. She brings her background as a classical musician, multi-instrumentalist, and accompanist to the VRC. She has studied with Horus Jack Tolson, Jeremy Cohen, and Jeff Massanari, and has appeared with the Charles Unger Experience, Freddy and the Flipside, Sam Peoples, Jr., and others in various venues throughout the Bay Area. Her current devotion is to London Street, a "sweet R & B" and funk unit.
